The Librarian Fantasy

Seeing McCain’s running mate Sarah Palin put me in the mind of this classic quote from a great little movie, The Station Agent:
Joe Oramas: It’s the librarian fantasy, man. Glasses off, hair down, books flying.
Finbar McBride: She doesn’t wear glasses.
Olivia Harris: Well, buy her some, it’s worth it.

It’s worth it.
and so you have no problem equating a political decision with your sexual fantasies, because, after all, she is a woman, and that’s what we are primarily here for, isn’t it? There’s no need to talk about policy, just imagine her luring you in with her with her librarian doe eyes peeking over her glasses.
And I bet she runs no danger of being slandered as a ‘ballbuster’ or being told she reminds voters too much of their nagging wives.
Simone de Bouvoir is rolling in her grave…

I don’t believe I revealed anything about what my ‘political decision’ is or will be in this post. I was merely making a very specific point
There’s no need to talk about policy, just imagine her luring you in with her with her librarian doe eyes peeking over her glasses.
Oooh…stop it, you’re driving me crazy
Simone de Bouvoir is rolling in her grave…
Because even people who purport to like/respect her writing don’t know how to spell her name?
Best, as always,
Sonic Charmer, I can only offer the highest compliment for your comprehensive rebuttal:
“Oh, snap!”
