What an interesting comment.
4 years ago I forwarded to a then- friend a photo of a dorm room that my freshman-son lived in, or rather the photo of a mess the room was. My eyes noticed the pile of pizza boxes on the floor, the clothes spilling from the chairs, the unmade bed. My friend saw only one thing – two posters of melon-brested girls leaning on cars. His reply to me was exactly the phrase written by Pastorius.
Why should a parent be PROUD that his/her son isn’t gay?
Besides, I do know 2 gays who are very much into cars – and all manner of things technical.
