I’ve found that if a grown, otherwise English-speaking person displays an inability to pronounce “Social Security” (like, if they basically call it “solscurity”, and aren’t intentionally being sarcastic in doing so), the chances that I’ll disagree with what they’re saying – whatever it is – skyrocket to 99%.
