President Obama Did Not End “The Iraq War”

Notwithstanding the previous post, I would like to point out that the removal of our garrison there will not end “The Iraq War”, because The Iraq War actually ended in late 2003. I wish I understood why people have continued to refer to the subsequent occupation of and garrison in Iraq as “The Iraq War” but at least now maybe people will stop.

    Never!

Huh. Now maybe he can end the “German War” and bring our troops back from Europe.

    • You have the nomenclature incorrect. You’re supposed to call it The Germany War. The universal convention now is: “The [Name Of Non-U.S. Country] War”. Everyone knows that! ;-)

Obama gets credit for ending things that have already ended, and he doesn’t have to take the blame for continuing things that he didn’t start (“Bush” tax cuts). Win win!
