I’m Deeply Concerned About Poor People
Unlike the heartless and despicable arch-conservative Mitt Romney, I am concerned about poor people. Deeply concerned, like any good Progressive.
In particular, I’m concerned that they’re all going to go to Hell for their slothful, amoral, sinful ways.
I’m also concerned that they’re going to take my stuff and give me diseases.
Another big concern about poor people while I’m at it is that they patronize dumb ass music and dumber ass movies using the welfare money that the government has taken from me to give to them. This causes dumb music/movies to be popular which just sucks.
I’m concerned that poor people will waste my time by engaging me in unwanted social interaction or by wanting to hand me flyers. One time a poor person (or maybe just a tenured professor) accosted me at the coffee shop where I used to see Billie Joe Armstrong. He (the poor person, not Billie Joe) said I was a corporate shill, slaving away for an illusory reward. (I think he had come to this conclusion because I had a backpack on my back.) To be fair, he turned out to be spot-on about all that, so, you know, touche. I should go back there and pick his brain some more actually.
Anyway, I have lots of concerns about poor people, as you can see. Does this mean I am Progressive?
That is very disconcerning.
That comment annoyed me.
As far as I’m concerned, you’re easily annoyed.
I really don’t see how that’s any of your concern.
I take it you really did mean “disconcerning” and not “disconcerting”.
You know what’s one of my favorite pieces of music, is the Brandenburg Concerno. Good stuff
And despite all the mandatory recycling and school-classes the Poor are not Green (enough) — they need more Soy and Soylent-products in their fattening poor diet, and more curly light-bulbs.
How about some nice Soylent Green – kill two birds with one stone (so to speak)
