My understanding is that the ”DEAL”, whatever else it did, made a certain set of tax rates ‘permanent’. So, the current tax rates are no longer “The Bush Tax Cuts”.
They are just The Tax Rates.
Right?

One they they are definitely not are the Obama Tax Cuts.
“One thing” they definitey are not – they are not the Obama Tax Cuts.
Yes. Actually, I’ve just realized that they are the ‘Obama-era Tax Rates’. And so, that’s how everyone should refer to them. The phrase ‘Bush tax cuts’ should no longer be used, except historically.
