What We’re Gonna Be Bombing In Syria (Which Is Good To Know)

Via Mark Steyn (which is the only way I can really stomach paying attention to these Producers-scam trial balloons) I learn some details of the plans for the War On Syria™ (2013, all rights reserved):
An American official said that the initial target lists included fewer than 50 sites, including air bases where Syria’s Russian-made attack helicopters are. The list includes command and control centers as well as a variety of conventional military targets. Perhaps two to three missiles would be aimed at each site.
I propose we call this military action “Operation Turn Over Syria’s Inventory Of Expensive Russian-Made Noisy Explodey Metal Things (For Russia) But Without Actually Threatening To Come Even Close To Dethroning Russia’s Counterparty That Buys The Stuff”. Which, now that I think about it, why didn’t Russian think of that first? Maybe Steyn was wrong to ridicule the ‘reset’ thing. Seems like we’re best buds now. Maybe Russia’s gonna blow up some of South Korea’s and Taiwan’s metal explodey stuff in return. We scratch their back, they scratch ours.
