No, Comma, Annoyingly Authoritative Counterspin

I made a certain prediction in the last post. And now I give you my prophecy coming true:

No, CBO did not say Obamacare will kill 2 million jobs

No, the latest CBO report doesn’t say Obamacare kills jobs

No, the CBO Report Does Not Say that Obamacare Will Kill 2 Million Jobs

No, the CBO Did Not Find That the ACA Kills Jobs

No, Obamacare isn’t handing out 2 million pink slips

No! The Affordable Care Act Will Not ‘Nuke’ 2.4 Million Jobs. [ed. note: I'd like to give this one credit for going with the exclamation point after 'No' rather than the traditional comma]

  1. Matt says:

I was waiting for the Yglesias contribution:

No, Obamacare Doesn’t Actually Kill Jobs, and It’s Not “Devastating” for Democrats

    • Crimsonic says:

He (wisely) opted for stuff like “How the CBO Thinks Obamacare Will Kill Jobs”

      http://www.slate.com/blogs/moneybox/2014/02/04/obamacare_as_job_killer_how_the_cbo_thinks_it_ll_work.html

Maybe there’s hope that, because he’s such a trend-setter, all these other outlets will knock it off with the “No, ____” headlines as well…

  2. Tim says:

For a second there I was concerned that you may have actually read something from the daily kos.

    *shudder*

I can’t imagine that the ensuing brain damage would be worth any benefit from having read it.
