Is it time for an outright ban? Sadly, yes

I know this will disappoint my freedom-loving readers, but in light of the New York Times’s bold and courageous call for ‘meaningful action’ following the Sandy Hook mass murder, I think there’s only one inescapable conclusion:

I think it’s time to ban murdering people.

I know, this seems extreme, but we can’t continue to sit idly by and be slaves to ancient dogma while these tragedies persist. As such, an outright ban on murdering people is the only meaningful action that makes sense.

Well, clearly, America would have been free from murder a long time ago, if it weren’t for Rethuglican intransigence, Christian ignorance, white racism, and Koch Brother’s greed. Duh.

Those factors also are/were the cause of poverty in Africa, all income inequality, Hurricane Sandy, all wars ever, and anyone who has ever stubbed their toe. Clearly, it’s time for the Adults in the Room ™ to stop with all this nonsense about being “fair” and “constitutional”, and set us on sail for the marvelous Worker’s Paradise that awaits us when we accept Barry Soetoro as our Lord and Savior.
